Revenue Manager

Diamond Resorts, champions of happier and healthier living through the power and value of vacations, is now recruiting a Regional Revenue Manager for our operations in the Canary Islands.

The job:

As Regional Revenue Manager you will be Responsible for delivering continued revenue growth from a group of managed properties and ensuring all key metrics are achieved. Managing and developing Revenue Analyst(s) to deliver outstanding performance and ensuring that regular rate reviews are carried out, with a focus on optimising Occupancy, ADR and Revenue.

You will be expected to work with all partners including Marketing, Yield & Resort Management while delivering on any adhoc business projects as and when required. Travel will be a key part of this role as you build and maintain close relationships with your partners. Main job responsibilities:

Responsible for all rate/strategy/management decisions for Region
Responsible for making sure that Revenue Management is represented on all property review calls
Ensure Rates/Pricing Rules are loaded in Clarity and on the OTAs through the channel manager or the various extranets
Ensure rate parity is maintained across all distribution channels including Clarity and DiamondResortsandHotels.com
Responsible for monitoring the workload of team and prioritizing tasks to achieve goals, monitoring all team communication and ensuring that proper follow-up and resolution are achieved within company guidelines
Responsible for all team training & development
Monitors booking pace, inventory, occupancy, historical trends, and competitive set, for assigned group of managed resorts, and implements rate strategies as a result of this analysis
Maintain market intelligence for assigned group of managed resorts including: competitors, rates, special events affecting demand, seasonal strategies, etc
Closely monitor competitive pricing and analyze impact of pricing decisions on property performance

The ideal candidate will be comfortable presenting data/concepts to a wide audience in an appropriate format, assessing current toolset’s and providing needed documentation and/or improvements as required. You will be expected to take the initiative and challenge the status quo while still contributing towards a strong and stable team environment.

Candidates must be familiar with MS Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel & Access) and a willingness to learn/share new skills & techniques is essential. Fluent in both English and Spanish is mandatory.

A minimum of 1 year experience in Revenue Management is a must.
